Students will have opportunities to move beyond the classroom—performing, serving, and ministering through senior living communities, churches, local events, festivals, and community outreach.
These experiences develop confidence, teamwork, stage presence, servant-hearted leadership, and the ability to connect with people through music.
Whether you are beginning for the first time, returning to an instrument after several years, or ready to become more confident playing with others, there is a place for you at Sound & Flame. Adults, teens, and children are welcome, and groups will be organized by age and experience whenever possible.
Students develop practical musical skill while learning to play with excellence, sensitivity, humility, teamwork, and a heart to serve God and others.
In-person group sessions will serve students in the Conroe and The Woodlands area and will initially meet in a welcoming home-based setting. The exact address will be provided directly to registered students.
Placement is based on current experience and goals. A short conversation will help determine whether Foundations, Progressions, or Ensemble Lab is the best fit.
Piano students do not need to bring a keyboard to class; one will be provided. Guitar students should bring their own guitar. If needed, arrangements may be made in advance to use a guitar provided by Sound & Flame during class.
No. Foundations is designed for beginners. Every class combines practical musicianship with a heart to worship and serve.
Yes. As students develop, they will have opportunities to perform, serve, and minister in community settings.
